For me, art is a bridge between the visual and the experimental, a conversation between material and memory. My work in mixed media—primarily oil paints or pieces with organic and unconventional materials—reflects an ongoing exploration of nature’s textures, rhythms, and quiet moments.

The outdoors inspires me; every leaf, stone, and shifting shadow holds a story. I seek to capture the essence of these elements, not just as they appear but as they make one feel. By layering materials and embracing the unpredictability of mixed media, I invite a dialogue between structure and spontaneity, mirroring nature’s balance between chaos, beauty, and harmony.

The materials themselves often dictate my process. Whether embedding natural fragments into my paintings or manipulating oil pigments to mimic organic patterns, I aim to create pieces that evoke curiosity and familiarity. I want viewers to experience the sensation of being outside—of feeling the wind, hearing the rustle of leaves, or sensing the weight of the earth beneath their feet.

Ultimately, my work is an invitation to slow down, notice, and reconnect with the world beyond walls.
